14" (36 cm.) Wax over paper mache shoulderhead, blue glass sleep eyes, lightly feathered brows, accented nostrils, tiny closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, muslin firmly-stuffed body with paper mache lower limbs, painted boots with brown edging. Condition: generally excellent, some fading of complexion. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: original wig, original body with fancy boots, and wearing original dotted Swiss dress with detailed ruffles.
