Description
11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque arms to above the elbows, bisque lower legs, painted grey boots with black painted tips and buttons, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1875, attributed to Simon and Halbig. Value Points: the dainty lady has lovely pale bisque that beautifully contrasts her brilliant eyes, original body with fancy bisque boots.
