Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, with distinctive neck articulation allowing head to swivel, tilt forward and back and tilt side to side, small cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, lightly feathered brows, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with hint of smile, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, bisque arms to above the elbows, cupped fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1865. Value Points: most charming presence with brilliant eyes, original very sturdy body with bisque arms, lovely antique costume and leather boots.
