Description
For 17"-18" poupee. Of finely woven flannel wool in a black and white houndstooth pattern, the one-piece gown features a fitted bodice with pouffed sleeves and skirt with reverse box pleats, and with black velvet edging, black button and loop closure. Along with matching hooded cape that is trimmed with black velvet edging. Excellent condition. French, circa 1860, the costume is attributed to Mlle. Bereaux. Also included for 17"-18" poupees: a wide-brimmed hat with black lace trim and black silk streamer; black velvet cap with velvet and feather trim; silk lined muff with black and white feathers.
