6" (15 cm.) l. x 4" candy box. The firm-sided box with vivid paper covering centering a portrait and with gilt metal edging, along with wire-framed bonnet decorated with lavender ribbons and lace. 2"l. firm-sided sewing necessaire of tan leather with magenta velvet panels containing tiny scissors and awl; gilt lorgnette with faux-bone handle; ormolu belt clasp with faux watch, scissors and perfume bottle. Excellent condition. Circa 1880.
