Description
For 17" early Huret poupee. The one-piece gown of black silk with interwoven floral designs features a dart-fitted bodice with rounded neckline, wide poufed sleeves over fitted undersleeves, set-in waist band, very full skirt with narrow knife pleats at the waist, and with two wide vertical lace-edged decorative bands at the front skirt. The gown is lined with brown muslin and has green stamp on inside waist band "Huret a Paris". Excellent condition, few small tears in fabric. French, Huret, circa 1860.
