Description
For 15" poupee. Included are evening gown of gold silk with ivory center panel, pouf sleeves, extended train and accented draped lace with gold silk bows; three-piece ensemble of blue silk featuring a fitted jacket with lace trim, skirt of alternating gold and blue silk bands, and blue silk overskirt with bustle back; brown linen wrap with exquisite embroidery and lace edging; textured wrap with aqua blue embroidery, and woven bonnet with blue silk applique star designs. Very good/excellent condition, some fading on blue gown, French, circa 1875, both gowns were featured in an article on the Paris fashion house of Worth, in Doll News, Spring, 2001.
