Description
8" (20 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brilliant blue glass inset eyes, dark upper eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, all-bisque body with peg-jointed arms and legs, thigh-high white ribbed stockings, brown two-strap shoes, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: rare large size, very fine quality of bisque and painting, brilliant eyes.
