Description
5" (13 cm.) 7". Each has wax-over-stockinette head, painted blue eyes and facial features, mohair wig, firmly-stuffed body on wire armature and with waxed finish, posed on original base. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (ink lettered name on Uebel red heart wrist label on most, along with name of costume that is represented). Comments: Marquerite Uebel, 1950s. Value Points: the rare dolls were original traditional costumes in precise authentic detail including multi-layered skirts and coiffes.
