Description
8" (20 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, narrow brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open in laughing expression, two beaded lower teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, body finish scuffed. Marks: 6971 Heubach (sunburst mark) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: the cheerful character is presented in wooden trunk with beaded name label of Ada on the front, with a number of nice family-made costumes and with a bisque head brown bear with cloth body.
