Description
5" (13 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, sculpted short blonde curly hair, painted googly eyes glancing downward to the side, painted upper lashes, single stroke brows, button-shaped nose, tiny "O"-shaped closed mouth, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet, lavender knit dress and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: September Morn (paper label on front torso). Comments: made in Germany, circa 1915, based on the original drawings by Grace Drayton, which depicted a little naked child shivering as she steps into a cold pond of water. Value Points: very rare doll in superb condition.
