Description
5" (13 cm.) and 9". Each is all-bisque with one-piece head and torso, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, including larger doll with blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with two beaded upper teeth, painted white stockings and brown two-strap shoes, marked 150 10; and smaller doll painted side-glancing googly eyes and closed mouth with tiny smile painted white socks and black one-strap shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1915. Value Points: the dolls are wearing matching knit costumes representing the popular character of Becassine.
