Description
16" (41 cm.) h. table and mirror. Arranged upon a maplewood toilette table with faux-bamboo styled legs and marble top, and with attached bracket mirror, is an assortment of French poupee accessories, including 7 1/2" l. bone-handled parasol with gold silk cover; firm-sided velvet cap with feathered accent; carton container with woven cover and hinged lid; wrist-length kidskin gloves with brown stitching; bone opera glasses with Stanhope images; and brown leather purse with belt straps. Generally excellent. French, circa 1870. Along with 2"l. black kidskin slipper shoes with brown silk edging and rosettes in the 1865 style albeit of recent make.
