Description
16" (41 cm.) Pink-tinted porcelain shoulderhead with rounded face, cobalt blue glass eyes, pronounced dark eyeliner, delicately painted tiny lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed poupee body. Condition: generally excellent, body is very sturdy and firm with few patches. Comments: French, attributed to Blampoix, circa 1860. Value Points: beautiful blushed complexion to contrast brilliant cobalt blue eyes, the poupee is wearing fine early white pique gown, and is presented in early trunk along with a fine assortment of antique gowns, jackets, skirt, and accessories.
