Description
7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, auburn mohair wig over plaster pate, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flakes at peg holes. Comments: Germany, Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: most charming pert face with finest bisque, wearing blue silk costume, leather shoes, and holding a blonde-handled jump rope and small all-bisque doll and blue glass eyes, painted black boots.
