Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, pierced ears, original brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointed hips, shapely torso. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1. Comments: French, circa 1870, attributed to Gaultier, circa 1870. Value Points: the dainty petite poupee is wearing antique red woolen gown with velvet trim, woven bonnet, undergarments, shoes, jewelry including lorgnette, and various accessories including market basket.
