Description
For 16"-17" poupee in the Huret manner. 4" shoulder width. 11" overall length. Comprising finely woven sheer white muslin gown with square cut neckline above a fitted shirred bodice flanked by ruffled bretelles and ruffled edge sleevelets, set-in waist, full gathered skirt with cartridge pleats, ruffled edge lappets extended the length of the front skirt; handmade rickrick edged the bretelles, sleevlets, and lappets. Also with cream kidskin slippers with wooden heels and bronze silk bows, marked C.C., tulle cap with embroidered details, and a French double-lidded market basket. Excellent condition. French, circa 1860.
