6" (15 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, very slightly-parted lips with tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed arms and legs, painted white socks and yellow ankle boots, wearing Red Cross nursing uniform. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: the artist-made limited edition doll was presented at a benefit event for the Rose Percy program, early 2000s. Value Points: also included is a pair of German 3 1/2" and 4" bisque miniature dolls, circa 1914, with sculpted blonde hair and painted facial features, closed body, bisque lower arms and legs, painted black boots, wearing antique Red Cross uniform costumes; the dolls were handed out by the Red Cross during the Great War (WWI) to children in distress.
