Description
8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted thigh-high black stockings, tan heeled shoes with blue bows, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 2. Comments: Germany, Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: rare painted black stockings and fancy shoes; included is drop-leaf wooden tea table and porcelain tea service.
