10" (25 cm.) Paper mache with socket head having painted brown hair and facial features, narrow blue eyes, closed mouth in broad smile with two rows of beaded teeth, on paper mache body form with rounded, weighted base designed never to tip over. Condition: generally excellent, original finish with some light scuffing. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1914, the figure depicts Schnickelfritz; the model was also made as a wooden-bodied doll by the firm and is very rare; the patented Rolly-Dolly toys appeared in the Schoenhut catalogs prior to 1914. Value Points: wonderful face on the rare character model, virtually never found as a Rolly-Dolly.
