Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral-threaded inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, plump kid body with gusset jointing at hips and knees, bisque lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Value Points: delicately blushed complexion on the early closed mouth doll, original body, wearing lovely antique costume.
