Description
13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque, sculpted hair with forelock detail, large sculpted ears, intaglio blue eyes with black and incised upper eyeliner, short feathered brows, rounded nose, closed mouth with accented center line on the shaded lips, impressed pout line around the mouth, original composition and wooden fully-jointed body, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (sunburst mark) 7759 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912. Value Points: superb modeling details, choice bisque and most appealing expression.
