15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque, short blonde sculpted hair, blue modeled hair bow, fully sculpted ears, intaglio small blue upper-glancing eyes with tiny white eye dots, black and incised upper eyeliner, glazed highlights on pupils, short stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pensive expression, accent line between the lips, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach (in square) 8381 4. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, the model is believed to portray Princess Juliana of the Netherlands as a young child, and is an exacting image of early photographs of the Princess. Value Points: extremely rare model by the Heubach firm is in pristine original condition with beautifully sculpted and painted bisque.
