Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head with solid dome, flocked auburn hair wig, brilliant blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, very slightly parted lips, row of sculpted teeth, impressed lip dimples, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, finish on right hand scuffed. Marks: SFBJ 237 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: brilliant blue eyes enhance the excellent bisque, original body and body finish, antique mariner costume.
