Description
22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue painted eyes enhanced by heavily modeled eyelids and thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, defined tongue and two beaded upper teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 54. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character series, the model known as "Elise", circa 1910. Value Points: rarer large size of the expressive-faced model with deeply defined features and compelling presence, lovely bisque and painting with delicate matte complexion, original body and body finish.
