Description
10" (25 cm.) Of padded fine cotton crepe over copper-wire armature and sculpted facial model, very angular face, painted facial features small dark eyes, strong nose, closed mouth, individually sculpted fingers, applied neatly trimmed moustache and beard, long brown flowing hair. Condition: excellent. Marks: Dorothy Wendell Heizer (cloth tag inside costume). Comments: portrayed is Charles I, King of England, Scotland and Ireland, 1625-1649, by Dorothy Heizer, circa 1950. Value Points: extremely rare, wearing original ivory silk shirt with velvet breeches, kidskin knee high boots, cap with upturned brim, sword and walking stick.
