Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center line, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French firmly-stuffed poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wooden upper arms, bisque lower arms with dowel-jointed elbows, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, right thumb restored. Comments: French, circa 1875, lovely spiral threaded eyes, rare body in excellent condition.
