Description
11" (28 cm.) The all-wooden doll has heart-shaped face and elongated throat, painted black hair with sculpted wooden tuck comb at her crown and painted curls framing the forehead, painted facial features, small blue eyes with defined eyeliner, tiny closed mouth, blushed cheeks, dowel-jointing at hips, knees, shoulders, and elbows, painted red shoes. Condition: generally excellent Comments: Grodnertal, circa 1820. Value Points: original finish is well-preserved, original earrings, early costume (some frailty to silk), and with beautifully painted curls on forehead.
