19" (48 cm.) Of carved pinewood with beautiful graining, the mannequin has highly defined facial sculpting with solemn expression, swivel head, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, and ball-swivel waist, separately carved fingers, sculpted ears, painted hair. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: mid-19th century, the mannequin form served as the inspiration for Leon Casimir Bru's deposed poupee wooden body which had the same articulations albeit with more highly refined sculpting and finish. Value Points: well-preserved state with excellent articulation.
