4" (10 cm.) h. bellhop. Each Kewpie has classic features including blue wings and wide glancing eyes; including standing Kewpie with jointed arms having a sculpted red and white bellhop cap, incised O'Neill on feet; 4" figure of seated Kewpie holding an oversized pen, atop a porcelain inkwell, with c. in circle stamp on base; and 3" Doodledog with rare painted black spots. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, from Rose O'Neill designs, the Doodledog is rarely found with black painted spots and has especially fine painting.
