4" (10 cm.) h. Kewpie in chair. Each is all-bisque with classic Kewpie features of topknot, side-glancing eyes, smile, and blue wings, including seated Kewpie with folded arms in green wicker chair; seated Kewpie holding a book in lap and appearing to turn the pages; seated Kewpie clasping an oversized brown pen; and tiny seated Kewpie alongside a yellow chick. The three larger are marked with c. in circle. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1915, from designs by Rose O'Neill.
