15" (38 cm.) The wooden framed cabinet desk with lower desk section having cabriole legs accented with brass mounts, surmounted by a cabinet top with double doors having beveled glass windows, metal beaded trim; the cabinet is covered with rich red velvet and silk lining. Structurally excellent, some age wear of velvet. French, circa 1885.
