Description
10" (25 cm.) A firmly-stuffed brushed mohair grey donkey is posed upon cast iron spoked wheels, and with grey upright ears, black shoe-button eyes, black yarn mane, brown leather harness, reins and saddle over red flannel saddle blanket. Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, circa 1900, one of the earliest toys created by the firm, very rare to find especially in this well-preserved condition.
