Each is all-cloth with flat-dimensional face, flat-black shoe-button eyes on eye whites, red eye dots, four lashes under each eye, thin line brows and smiling mouth with oval red center, thickly-outlined red nose, reddish/brown wool yarn hair, stitch-jointed body with red heart stamp, sewn-on stockings with unusually thick stripes, black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Johnny Gruelle's Own Raggedy Ann (or Andy) doll...Georgene Novelties..." (cloth labels on dolls). Comments: Georgene Novelties, circa 1940. Value Points: wonderful fresh condition of the early-Georgene era pair, each wearing complete original costume, outlined noses, unusual striped stockings.
