Padded fine cotton crepe over copper wire armature, press-shaped painted facial features on slender-shaped face, solemn expression, small blue eyes with heavily-defined eyelids, aquiline nose, closed mouth with beautifully-shaped lips, very dark center-parted silk thread hair under bead-edged coiffe, hands resting on hips. Condition: excellent. Comments: depicted is Anne Boleyn, second wife of King Henry VIII, by the NIADA artist, Dorothy Heizer, circa 1950.
