17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, deeply-set eye sockets with pale blue painted eyes, black and red upper eyeliner, painted curly upper lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 536 5. Comments: Kley and Hahn, circa 1910, from their art character series. Value Points: rare model with wonderfully-sculpted dimples at cheek corners and lips, artistic painting of up-glancing eyes.
