Description
16" (41 cm.) Each is all-cloth with felt pressed face with painted suede-like complexion and facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, painted side lashes, one-stroke brows, tiny closed mouth, mohair stitched-on wig in original coiffure, muslin body with jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, Agnes with two small tears at back skirt. Marks: Madame Alexander (cloth tag, with name of doll "Agnes" or "Jo"). Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Madame Alexander, circa 1933-34, "Jo" was released at the time of the RKO film of Little Women with Katherine Hepburn. Value Points: rare to find dolls in well-preserved condition.
