Padded cotton crepe fabric over copper-wire armature, press-shaped facial features with downcast head, painted details, strong cheek bones, small blue eyes with defined eyeliner, brunette silk thread hair, closed mouth with firmly set lips, individually-sculpted fingers clasped with intertwined fingers. Condition: excellent. Marks: Dorothy Wendell Heizer (cloth tag inside costume). Comments: portrayed is Henry VII, first monarch of the House of Tudor by Dorothy Heizer, circa 1950. Value Points: rare doll, wearing original brown velvet cap and shirt with wide collar, padded silk brocade long coat with faux-fur cuffs and collar, brown leggings and shoes, and rich necklace of beading and rubies.
