Padded cotton crepe over copper wire armature, press-shaped painted facial features on down-tilted head, small blue eyes with defined eyeliner, thick painted brows, auburn silk thread hair under velvet and woven coiffe, closed mouth, separately-modeled fingers clasped with intertwined fingers. Condition: excellent. Marks: Dorothy Wendell Heizer (cloth tag inside costume). Comments: portrait of Catherine Howard by Dorothy Heizer, circa 1950. Value Points: rarely found doll by the illustrious artist is wearing emerald green gown of velvet and silk with stand-up collar and gilt jewelry.
