Description
19" (50 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, short brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, few wig pulls at back of head. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117/A 50. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, their model marketed as "Mein Liebling" (my sweetheart). Value Points: beautiful complexion enhanced by fine lustrous patina, fine antique costume including silver pin "Dorothy".
