Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, intaglio blue painted eyes with pronounced black pupils, red and black upper eyeliner, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips and center accent line, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique cream flannel mariner suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6969 5 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque enhancing the wistful expression.
