10" (25 cm.) Padded cotton crepe fabric over copper-wire armature, press-shaped facial features with painted details, strong cheek bones, small blue eyes with defined eyeliner, brunette silk thread hair, closed mouth with firmly set lips, individually-sculpted fingers posed to hold object. Condition: excellent. Marks: Dorothy Wendell Heizer (cloth tag inside costume). Comments: portrayed is Richard III by Dorothy Heizer, circa 1950. Value Points: very apt portrayal as compared with original oil paintings of the monarch, wearing original black velvet tunic with grey silk lining, black leggings, silk boots, black velvet cap, and with emerald and chain necklace and cap jewelry.
