20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted brown curly lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with smiling expression, defined space and two modeled teeth between the shaded lips, impressed dimples at lip corners, chin and philtrum, sculpted short boyish hair with forelock curl, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, retouch on hands. Marks: SFBJ 235 Paris 8. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1915. Value Points: especially fine detail of sculpted facial features, antique mariner suit and cap.
