11" (28 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, plump facial modeling, tiny amber brown glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pale accented lips, blonde mohair wig, kid bebe body with square-cut collarette, gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, bisque hands with exquisitely sculpted fingers, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, there is an old faint hairline on forehead. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1880. Value Points: exquisite petite model of the earliest Bru bebe with original body, perfect hands, wonderful facial expression enhanced by choicest bisque and painting, lovely antique costume.
