All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, brown hair with forelock defined curls accented by feathering, brown painted eyes with brown and red upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, stitch-jointed arms, separate thumbs, disc-jointed legs, antique costume and felt shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 3110/0 (foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, circa 1915, Type 1. Value Points: charming character with wistful expression and antique costume, very appealing facial painting, carrying antique carved brown wooden bear with pincushion basket attached to its back, clasping spool of thread.
