13" (33 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with primly set lips, impressed dimples at lip corners and chin, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume, shoes and socks. Marks: 700 2/0. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Marseille, circa 1910. Value Points: few examples of the model are known to exist, this example enhanced with most endearing expression and fine quality of bisque.
