Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with shaded outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body, straight wrists, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some paint wear on torso. Marks: 4 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: lovely pale complexion dramatized by rich brown eyes, original early body.
