Description
6.5" (17 cm.) Solid domed paper mache head with painted black pate and painted facial features, large blue eyes, French kid shapely body with one-piece arms and legs. Condition: very good, some scuffs to original finish. Comments: French, attributed to Andreas Voit, circa 1840. Value Points: wearing early costume including cape, and presented along with 2 1/2" all-cloth early doll with painted facial features; 3 1/2" early doll with carved wooden head; and early 3" x 3 1/2" sampler.
