Description
11" (28 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut neck socket that accommodates to dowel at torso neck, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, composition body with jointing at shoulders and hips, painted stockings and high laced black boots, nicely costumed. Excellent condition. Marks: 3. Sonneberg, circa 1880, the early closed mouth doll has original rare body.
