20" (51 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with sculpted hair under wig, tiny blue glass "jewel" eyes, brown curly lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open in laughing expression, outlined lips, two beaded upper teeth, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, well costumed in brown velvet suit, cap, shirt, leather saddle shoes. Marks: SFBJ 235 Paris 8 (head) Fabrication Francaise Paris SFBJ (body). Generally excellent. SFBJ, circa 1912.
